Park for our Pals
Garland’s first Dog Park is officially open for play. The 3-acre, off-leash park project is perfect for a variety of fun, dog-related activities!
There are three rotating dog paddocks with double entry gates and a 6ft high fence for one large dog and one small dog, while the other paddock rotates, allowing the area to rest and for general maintenance. Magnetic locks on the gates will provide security when the paddocks are closed.
- Large dog paddock - 35 lbs or greater
- Small dog paddock - less than 35 lbs.
Park amenities include:
- Drinking fountains
- Large pavilion, providing shade
- Seating
- Park lighting
- Large green spaces

Hours of Operation:
6 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily unless otherwise posted.
Dog Park will close entirely every Wednesday until 4 p.m. for routine maintenance. Additionally, the park may close after rain and/or wet conditions when necessary.
Restrooms are located on the north side of the park near the baseball field.
Dog Park Rules
All dog handlers using the dog park are responsible for reading and understanding the rules of the park prior to entering. All users of the dog park enter at their own risk and assume responsibility for themselves and their dogs.
